The Notation tab lets you select which data modeling notation you want to use in your Diagram.
The Notation tab of a Diagram
If you want to set the notation that all of you Diagrams will use by default, select the <default> Diagram Domain and make your selection on this tab. You can select the <default> Diagram Domain by:
| 1. | go to the Diagram tab and select the Inherit link |
| 2. | select the  tab at the bottom of the Model Explorer, find Diagram Domain listed in the Domains section, expand that tree item, and select <default>. |
