    Permissions Creating Table in Tablespace

I'm a new user and this is my first attempt in generating my database from the model.  My database is Oracle 10g Express.  The scripts generated look good, the user account and tablespace are all created but when it starts creating tables I get - "ORA-01950: no privileges on tablespace 'MySpace'".  I'm connected to the database with the system account but my new user account apparently doesn't have permissions for creating the tables in the tablespace.  I'm looking to see where that's defined in ModelRight.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

     Thanks.

Re: Permissions Creating Table in Tablespace

    Hi Dan,

At this time, ModelRight doesn't support permissions. We were thinking about that feature more like an administration feature. However, we've had enough request about it that we're thinking of adding it in the near future.

In meantime, you can use Post Scripts. ModelRight allows you to write little VB scripts that get executed whenever an object is generated. Such script can be easily used to generate grant permissions.

    Hope this helps.
